Aimed at the CEOs and decision-makers of major companies and of SMEs/SMIs who wish to initiate a targeted and qualitative development of their
activities in the Indian and the European markets, EITS (Euro India Transportation Systems), an Indo-European event to be held from November 17 to 19 2009, is dedicated to the transportation systems and located at the heart of European logistics flows - Metz in France. During this three-day event, EITS aims to bring together, for the first time, 1500 representatives from Indian and European companies in 6 sectors of activity, viz., automobile, aeronautics and aerospace, rail, truck/bus, ship building, transport and logistics industries.
Organised by the Proximum Group on behalf of Moselle Development, the event is an excellent way for European and Indian businesses to meet the professionals in the transportation systems markets of both continents so as to generate lasting industrial partnerships, according to the organisers of the event, EITS will arrange six complementary fairs and business conventions, and 40 associated conferences. Designed to enable the participants to identify quickly and in a qualified way their future partners for selling, exporting, investing or forming a joint venture in India and in Europe, the EITS event includes six simultaneous Indo-European fairs, organised with the objective of initiating new strategic partnerships both in the participant's core businesses and in their related diversification branches.
EITS also targets various other industrial networks, which play a significant role in overall development of the transport industry, to
participate in this major business event. These include engineering and R&D, materials, plastic technologies, composites and polymers, metal work, mechanics, micro and
nano-technologies, technical textiles, on-board electronics, electricity, metrology, satellite navigation, industrial IT, motorization system, energy, etc. With rapidly growing international exchanges the bilateral trade flow between India and Europe is estimated to be Euro 70.7 billion in 2010 and is expected to rise up to Euro160.6 billion in 2015. In this context, the transport sectors represent a market for considerable development and EITS is truly a remarkable hub in terms of exchanges and business opportunities for Indian and European companies.
The six fairs, EITS Aerospace, EITS Automotive, EITS Railway, EITS Shipbuilding, EITS Truck&Bus and EITS Logistics, are aimed at meeting the
technical partnerships and R&D requirements development in addition to finding new markets for European and Indian companies working in the transportation systems industries. Other than the fairs, the event would also include the 3rd international "Industrial dynamics and competitiveness of territories" symposium, organised by the General Council of
