Automechanika Shanghai returns from 9-12 December 2014 and this year has focused on inviting both quantity and quality worldwide buyers following its successful efforts in exhibitor recruitment. More than 4,900 exhibitors from 39 countries and 86,000 visitors are expected, making it the world's second largest Automechanika fair for automotive parts, accessories, equipment and services.
Discussing the promotion of this year's show to buyers, Mr Ji Xuecheng, General Manager of China National Automotive Industry International Corporation said: "We have expanded the promotional domain of the show, especially in the Middle, Northwest, Southwest of China, in Hubei, Hunan, Sichuan, Shaanxi, Yunnan, Xinjiang, Gansu, Guangdong and Guangxi provinces. These areas contain the most second and third tier cities and have huge potential for auto consumption. Following advertising in auto parts and accessories markets, and through related associations organising visitor groups, we are expecting more professional buyers from these areas this year. To take advantage of our broad global network and resources, this year's show has strengthened overseas buyers and visitors invitation from potential markets such as Eastern Europe, South America and the Middle East. What's more, we have made every effort to invite global buyers and professional visitors from different natures of business including auto manufacturers, dealers, terminal stores and 4S shops, to cater for the varied needs of our exhibitors."
To secure the attendance of top quality buyers from across the world, Premium Buyers Club has been formed to enhance buyers' experiences. It is an exclusive programme for high quality buyers at senior management level or those who hold full purchasing authority within the industry. It covers the whole automobile industry chain; from car manufacturers, distributors, 4S shops and repair workshops to car care service centres.
Commenting on the new initiative, Mr Jason Cao, Chairman of the Board of Management at Messe Frankfurt (Shanghai) Co Ltd said: "Each year we strive to make Automechanika Shanghai bigger and better than the previous year, and our new and exclusive Premium Buyers Club is just one example of that. I'm confident it will have a positive impact on the experience for the high calibre of buyer groups already confirmed, which includes increased delegate numbers from domestic and overseas associations. We strive to ensure all visitors, including buyers, organisations, government sectors and media, find their experience both profitable and enjoyable."
Automechanika Shanghai is organised by Messe Frankfurt (Shanghai) Co Ltd and the China National Automotive Industry International Corporation (CNAICO). It is one of 14 Automechanika fairs held in Africa, Asia, Europe and Central and South America.
