Omega Seiki Mobility, part of the Anglian Omega Group, announced its collaboration with the Haryana Government to open a dedicated COVID-19 Oxygen Hospital at Sanjay Colony, Faridabad.

Australia-based lithium producers plan to expand production. Many others too are announcing expansion plans as the prices of raw materials used in EV batteries have shot up.

The company also plans to upgrade sales networks and increase production in the country. It intends to introduce a new MPV early next year after India recovers from the second wave of COVID-19 impact.

Hyundai is planning to suspend production in its Asan plant for two days next week, owing to the lack of electronic parts. The company had already suspended operations on Monday and Tuesday last week.

US President Joe Biden has also proposed $174 bn to acquire the electric vehicle market as a part of his plan, which is presently being considered by Congress.
