The Automotive Component Manufacturers' Association of India (ACMA), the apex body of the auto component industry in India, hosted the fourth edition of ACMA Technology Summit on 29th and 30th January, 2019 in Pune.

With the announcement of the ChargeGrid Pro series, Magenta Power becomes the first in India to launch an end-to-end AC charging platform for EVs.

Magenta Power, a pioneer in renewable energy solutions and EV charging infrastructure space in India, has installed an EV charging station named ‘ChargeGrid’ at the Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) staff colony in Chembur, Mumbai.

The company, which offers electric vehicle (EV) DC chargers upto 150kW, to strengthen its manufacturing capabilities by offering chargers upto 150kW by mid of 2019.

The charging station can be operated through Magenta’s ChargeGrid App, which will allow cashless transactions.

By launching these initiatives in partnership with major automobile giants, Magenta Power will create the facilitation of an independent and open network for charging infrastructure.

The charging stations will be equipped with the ChargeGrid App which will show the availability of chargers along the route, coupled with their status at an individual socket level.
