Dana Holding Corporation has launched the Spicer Rui Ma™ brand for a new class of transmissions and axles made in China to provide a quality complement to Dana’s flagship Spicer brand of technologically advanced drivetrain solutions. Spicer Spicer Rui Ma drivetrain solutions provide an optimized blend of product features, performance, dependability, and cost demanded by purchasers of the majority of construction and other off-highway vehicles manufactured in China.
Developed and produced at Dana’s manufacturing facility in Wuxi, Jiangsu Provence, China, Spicer Rui Ma transmissions and axles live up to the standards set by the Spicer brand for more than a century. Spicer Rui Ma products are engineered to perform effectively throughout the entire life of the vehicle through Dana’s considerable ongoing investment in research and development; comprehensive simulation, bench, and field testing; and exacting requirements for suppliers.
The initial Spicer Rui Ma solutions offered to Chinese OEMs include the Spicer TZL16 RM powershift transmission for ZL50 front-end loaders, the T08 RM transmission for six- to ten-tonne (6.5- to 11-ton) fork lift trucks, and the T39 RM tridem drive axle for five- and six-axle chassis concrete pump trucks and other heavy-duty vocational applications. Dana will introduce additional Spicer Rui Ma transmissions and axles for the construction, mining, and material-handling industries in the coming months.
Spicer Rui Ma drivetrain solutions offer clear technological advantages over competitive products traditionally offered to the Chinese off-highway market by drawing from a complete portfolio of technologies that reduce vehicle downtime, extend the working life of vehicles, improve operator comfort, and increase overall productivity.
