Indian arm of Japanese two wheeler manufacturer Honda Motorcycle & Scooter has launched the New Activa 125 with Automatic Head Lamp On (AHO) and Bharat Stage-IV emission norms, making it the first scooter in the country to come equipped with BS-IV engine.
On customer demand, Honda has now introduced a new mid variant – Alloy wheels with drum brakes. The standard variant is priced at Rs 56,954, New alloy drum one at Rs 58,900, and the alloy disc variant will come for Rs 61,362.
It features 125cc Honda Eco Technology (HET) engine which churns out net power of 6.35kw (8.52 BHP)@6,500 RPM and higher torque of 10.54Nm@5,000 RPM. The all new Activa 125 now comes in five colours – New Mat Crust Metallic in addition to existing Pearl Amazing White, Black, Rebel Red Metallic. Yadvinder Singh Guleria, Senior Vice President - Sales and Marketing, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India said, “Honda’s Activa 125 is now the first automatic scooter in India to meet both the AHO and BS-IV norms. Having completely new Frontastic looks with compelling combination of new LED position lights and chrome chest, the new Alloy variant and added convenience features; we are confident that the all new Activa 125 will strengthen its leadership even more in 2017-18.”
