Leading Chinese EV maker selects BorgWarner for sourcing eMotors

News  /   April

Suzuki is developing the Euro 5-compliant version of its existing 250cc parallel-twin engine, and leaked images of new motor have surfaced online. Suzuki has also applied for a patent for its new 250cc engine and as the images suggest they've put their best brains to use in order to ensure that the engine conforms to the strict Euro 5/ BS6 emission regulations. But before we go any further let us remind you that this 250cc parallel twin has been around for quite some time and also powered the critically acclaimed Suzuki Inazuma. The engine developed 26hp and 22Nm while it's smooth nature and crisp power delivery was lauded by many. Coming back to the new 250cc parallel-twin engine, Suzuki has employed a secondary catalytic converter that's located just after the point where the two exhaust header pipes emerge out of the combustion chambers.
