The Tigor EV has GNCAP with a 4-star rating for adult
and child occupant protection. The car also features the proprietary high
voltage EV architecture, Ziptron. It is built on the strong pillars of safety,
comfort, and technology. The car ranges between Rs 11.99 Lakhs to 12.99 Lakhs.
According to Shailesh Chandra, President,
Passenger Vehicle Business Unit, Tata Motors, Electric vehicles are gaining
popularity as they offer comfort and offer an environment-friendly solution.
Another variant from Tata Motors, Nexon EV is the most popular EV in the Indian
market. He also said that the company has been able to expand EV offerings to
its customers because of the support from the central and the state Government.
He showed his excitement to launch the Tigor EV powered by the capable Ziptron
As per the records, the brand is launching
the car in three different variants naming, XE, XM, XZ+. These variants come
with an 8 year and 160,000 KM battery and motor warranty. The car has other
features like it is electrically adjustable, has foldable ORVMs, smart keys,
portable charging cable, and push-button start.
