Bharat Forge Limited and BF Industrial Solutions Limited has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire JS Autocast for an undisclosed sum.
The acquisition will enable Bharat Forge to expand its product portfolio while strengthening its presence in south India, the company release stated. Amit Kalyani, Deputy Managing Director, Bharat Forge said that, JS Auto will accelerate their diversification journey and enable them in addressing the Decarbonization opportunity. This acquisition along with the previous deal in the open die segment significantly broadens our presence, capabilities and product offerings in the industrial space.
The Coimbatore-based company supplies critical machined ductile iron castings for wind, hydraulic, off-highway and automotive applications. Over the past 5 years, the sales of JS Auto have grown at a CAGR of 17.7% and have a registered sale of INR 259 crores in FY21, stated the media release.
